From the Marvel Universe is this fantastic Alexei Shostakov 1:1 Scale Metal Shield personally hand-signed and inscribed with, Red Guardian, by film star David Harbour during his signing with Celebrity Authentics. This 24" shield is finely crafted in metal and nicely hand-finished with a weathered finish and complete with leather straps. Alexei Andreovitch Shostakov is the Soviet Union's first official super soldier known as Red Guardian and a founding member of the New Avengers. During his career in the Soviet Armed Forces, Shostakov became an ally of General Dreykov, the head of the Red Room. In 1992, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, he was sent deep undercover in Ohio to infiltrate and destroy the Hydra-occupied North Institute within S.H.I.E.L.D., assigned with Melina Vostokoff to pose as an American family with two surrogate daughters, Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova. Upon destroying the institute in 1995, Shostakov returned to Russia, but was eventually incarcerated by Dreykov in Seventh Circle Prison for criticizing the Russian government. This very rare item ships affixed with Celebrity Authentics serial-numbered and tamper evident Authentication Hologram and includes Celebrity Authentics Certificate of Authenticity featuring picture of David signing the Shield.
