About This Product

Bring home a killer piece of horror movie memorabilia with this Freddy vs. Jason Original Motion Picture Score Album personally autographed by Robert Englund and Ken Kirzinger during their respective signings with Celebrity Authentics. Featuring the signatures of two legendary horror icons, this collectible celebrates the ultimate showdown between Freddy Krueger, the dream-haunting nightmare portrayed by Robert Englund, and Jason Voorhees, the unstoppable hockey-mask-wearing killer portrayed by Ken Kirzinger.

Graeme Revell created a score that manages to feel familiar without ever relying on the work of previous composers to do the heavy lifting. His musical nods to earlier films are brief but effective. For example, the cue “Girl with No Eyes” utilizes a few lines of Elm Street’s “One, Two, Freddy’s Coming for You” nursery rhyme, and “Jason’s Surprise Attack” and “Jason’s First Dream” feature flourishes of Manfredini’s “Ki Ki Ki, Ma Ma Ma. With the tracks “Gibb Meets Freddy” and “Jason’s First Dream,” Revell uses the sound of clanking pipes in a way that not only sonically represents the scenes’ boiler room setting but subtly captures the feel of Bernstein’s original Elm Street theme, without directly quoting it.

In Freddy vs. Jason, the two infamous slashers collide in a brutal supernatural battle. As Freddy’s power diminishes because the residents of Springwood no longer fear him, he manipulates Jason into reigniting a wave of terror. But when Jason refuses to stop killing Freddy’s intended victims, the plan spirals into an all-out clash between two of horror cinema’s most notorious villains. Ships affixed with Celebrity Authentics serial-numbered Authentication hologram and includes Celebrity Authentics Certificate of Authenticity featuring picture of Robert and Ken signing. Whether displayed alongside your horror memorabilia or added to a soundtrack collection, this dual-signed collectible is a standout tribute to one of horror’s most legendary cinematic rivalries.
